Today’s forecast shows a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms moving in after 2:00, accompanied by a stiff breeze and possible gusty winds. High temperature of 87 this afternoon, but temperatures will drop fairly significantly behind this system moving through.

Plantation fall dryject aerification has been completed, with the course reopening today. Although disruptive to the top putting surface, Dryject aerification is a necessary maintenance practice to ensure the long term health of putting surfaces. Ideally done twice a year, deposit material (thatch) from 1 inch to 8 inches below the surface is removed and replaced with clean, dry sand.

Today kicks of 2022 Men’s Member Invitational. The River / Plantation putting green will be closed at 2:00 today to set up for our Kick Off Challenge and Stag Night.

KLGA 9 is out at The Woods today.
