Saturday July 16

Good morning Kingsmill,

That was some rainfall yesterday! Over 2.25 inches in 75 minutes. While our team will be able to clean and mow putting surfaces, unfortunately all the other work will focus on debris pick up and drain clearing. Pictures on “flash flooding” below. We recommend playing bunkers as ground under repair, free relief, through the weekend. Good news though, because most of the water was “run off quickly” our agronomy team is allowing 90 degree carts. Please be careful of collection areas.

Today’s forecast calls for sun and clouds through the day, high of 85 degrees. Our Team will be preparing the River, Plantation and Woods Courses for play today. Good luck to the MGA competitors on The River!

The Plantation Course goes under for its summer maintenance schedule on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week.

Enjoy the day!
