Good Morning Kingsmill.

Remnants of Hurricane Zeta will arrive in our area later this morning. Rain and wind are expected throughout the afternoon and overnight. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph.

We are working to complete as much as possible ahead of the rain. We started our fall color swap around the Resort this week. We are currently installing solid red and solid white Pansies. We protect our Pansies with a product named Deer Scram. This all natural organic product has proven to work for us the last two seasons. The odor is non offensive to humans and creates a border of protection around your plants or landscape beds. It trains animals away and reapplication is not as critical as it is with other products following light rainfall.
