Our Team continues to prepare for the potential impact of incoming storm Isaias.

We have received an abundance of rain over the last two weeks and Isaias is forecasted to deliver 3 – 4″ of additional rainfall. This causes some concern for our 58 cool season putting greens. We have begun venting greens on the Plantation course this morning. This involves poking small 7mm holes on 2″ x 2.5″ spacing – followed by a roll. The process causes very little disruption to play and is a tremendous help to our greens. These holes will allow the greens “breathe” and move water so that they do not remain saturated any longer than necessary.
