River Course Practice Facility Closure

The River Course practice tee will be closed from 9 am to 11:30 am for maintenance today.

Bunker repair completed on our Plantation Course #1 Fairway.

Amazing October skies over our beautiful Woods Course. Great day for RND 2 of our East - West Championship.

1.3” of rain last night = lots of bunker work ahead of the Ladies Williamsburg Cup on our Woods Course today.

Following the 3+ inches of rain we have received over the past 48 hours at the Woods Course, we will be venting greens to increase oxygen in root zone and spraying fungicides to protect against disease. Looking forward to sunshine and dry weather for the week!

One inch of rain caused minor washing in some of our bunkers. While they are playing a little less than desired, we are getting a fresh mow and edge on them. The rake "inside" the bunker indicates it is to be played Ground Under Repair until the team pushes back sand and rakes it out.

What better day to begin hand raking bunkers than Master's Sunday? River Course bunkers received fresh sand this week and we will now be hand raking bunkers to improve consistency/aesthetics.

Wind is whipping in off the James this morning. Opening day for KLGA 18 holer's on the River Course

Blue whiskers will be used to help differentiate mowing assignments on the River Course. This will allow us to dial each area in over the next 52 days. The Kingsmill Championship is approaching quickly!

With the Plantation Course Closed yesterday, our Team made a big impact on #12 as we trimmed native/fescue areas throughout the hole. More to come as we prepare each golf course for the 2018 season!

A light dusting and chilly temps will keep the golf courses closed this morning. C'mon Sun!!!!

Day 2 started with frost delay at Woods Course. Finishing Topdress/Brush on Back 9, Fertilizer Amendments going out on all Greens. Trying to beat the rain this afternoon. Thanks to @tim_doran_ for sending a few horses to help spread.Gypsum, ProMg and KCal going out to feed and strengthen plants for recovery. Great day on the Woods. All greens punched and cleaned up, blown and rolled. Top dressed front 9 and putter. More sand and amendments tomorrow. Thanks @tim_doran for sending the Calvary to help us knock it out!
